simple scrapper: may blog hop & giveway

Bloghop-2013

It’s the first Tuesday in May… and do you know what that
mans?

It’s the Simple Scrapper blog hop! The DT members get to share what

they
created with the May sketches.

Like always, I seriously loved this months sketch!

And like
always, I cannot wait to see how Jennifer tops these sketches.

When I sat down to work on these sketches, I had just gone
to the zoo.

So I had way to many photos for a 1 pager.

That’s right people, I
did a double layout.

All I did was flip the sketch upside down.

I love how that
each layout holds it own, but look great put together.

Room 580 was my mom’s hospital room; she broke her ankle a
few weeks ago.

This photo went with this paper so well.

This paper is a little
overwhelming, but with simple layers and embellishments,

the photo just about
scrapped itself.

This month’s story starter is Big Events.

I had Kevin write
me a letter telling the story of this picture.

I just love the journaling as
the background paper!
