simple scrapper: march blog hop & giveway

Bloghop-2013

Hello hoppers, I hope you are enjoying the hop so far.

you should be arriving from Pam's blog

I have A LOT to share with you today. I will keep the story
short so you can enjoy the photos!

I just have to say Jennifer out did herself AGAIN this month
with the sketches. I am sure I will be using these a lot for upcoming
projects.

So I ordered these instagram prints from Origrami. And I
LOVE them! You get 36 Polaroid style prints on a super thick cardstock for  $19.99 and free shipping. What I love even
more is, if you geo tag the location where you took the photo, they print a
little map on the back. It even includes the date you instagramed it. You all
know how I love instagram and how much I travel. This = super awesomeness! {Yes
that is a word}

I wanted to be able to still see the map on the back, so I
used washi at the top to adhere the photo to the page. I then sewed over the
washi on to the photo to create a “hinge”. {Notice in one of the photos how I
can flip the photo up to view the back}

The Studio Calico was pretty perfect this past month for
these sketches.  That “city” stamp was
perfect for this shot of my feet sitting in traffic on the 405. And what about
that super cute flair my friend Martha from PandaEIGHT sent me! {I have a
little flair addiction}
I also love that grid paper, kinda makes you think of a
map huh.

I’m only required to use 2 of the 5 sketches, but I went for
a third!

I kinda love this layout, it’s very me. I made this layout
for Pretty Little Studio. It’s my first project as a DT member.

And for my last project to share with you, my route 66 mini
album. Boy does this little mini have a big story to tell!

First I designed the
kit for Paper Issues. I made it days after driving home from Pennsylvania. We
picked up the 40 in saint looey {which use to be route 66} & we sang the
song almost the entire way to San Bernardino.

Second the mini got picked up by a magazine and will be published in June!

And third the March Story Starter was adventure, and one of the prompts was to make
a mini. I asked Jennifer if it was ok if I used the mini, since I had just made
it a few months previous.

Thanks for stopping by today, and sorry I tried to keep it
short and sweet, but I really wanted to tell you about each project!
