I wouldn’t be surprised if every team member made these little houses for their project. They are so cute and super easy to put together.  I only had this one color of glitter paper so I cut the house out in pink glitter paper and white cardstock. The glitter paper was really thin so I backed it with the white cardstock I had cut. For the white snowy accents I just glitter them with a clear glitter. I have done a couple of projects this year with snow-tex, and thought it would be a perfect accent to this house. I backed the windows and doors with some vellum for the frosty look. But the one thing I forgot was the cute little wreath that comes with the house. I am gonna have to go back and add it.  I really enjoyed making this house and cant wait to tackle the others!

#30gratefuldays: the photos

So are you wondering what I did with my #30grateful day’s photos?

I know some of the girls made mini albums. Jennifer Wilson from Simple Scrapper made me this super cool layered template so I could put all my photos together. You can download it here for free! You will need pse or photoshop to use it. I will have it printed as a 12x12 photo from persnickety prints. Then I will simply slip it into a 12x12 page protector and included it in my capture life album. {My take on a digital project life, using my instafriday photos}

 

SO you probably have seen all of these photos from my instagram feed or from here on instafriday. But now you get to see them all together!

So I totally forgot to post instafriday on Friday! So guess what you get last weeks photos today!

Its crunch time around here! Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is just around the corner. I have been busy making Christmas crap! next week I will post a tutorial on how I made that mason jar snow globe I made! That’s enough gab, its photo time!

 

This little guy had to have surgery 6 teeth were pulled! So happy he is now back to his old self!

For my first project I made this Woodland Christmas diorama. I just love they way it turned out. I used a 4x6 journaling card for the background and added plastic figurines for a realistic feel.

 

 

 

 

Second project I made an ornament using some Christmas at home Collection. It’s hard to see in the photos, but I also included some “snow” and wood veneer snowflakes, and somewhere in there is a tiny candy cane.

 

 

 

And third project I made a mason jar snow globe using Woodland Christmas Just like the diorama I used some plastic creatures along with paper animals to give a realistic feel.
